[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Carbios, an innovative green chemistry company specializing in enzymatic bioprocesses applied to plastic and textile polymers, received on March 9th, the Cleantech prize for the “Better Partnership innovative SME \/ major corporation”, awarded by the AFIC (French private equity investors association) and EY.
\nThis distinction rewards the partnership between CARBIOS, Limagrain C\u00e9r\u00e9ales Ingr\u00e9dients and the SPI Fund \u201cindustrial project companies\u201d operated by Bpifrance, an alliance which became a reality by the creation of the joint-venture CARBIOLICE in September, 2016.
\nThis company resumed the production and marketing of bio sourced and biodegradable plastic granules of Limagrain C\u00e9r\u00e9ales Ingr\u00e9dients (known under the brand Biolists \u00ae) and will integrate the technological innovations dismissed by CARBIOS. Through its production unit of a 4 000 ton capacity a year, CARBIOLICE commits the industrial and commercial development of the CARBIOS technology (enzymatic biodegradation of plastics).
\nThis innovation is intended for the market of flexible films (mulching, bags and sacks, industrial films, routing films, food packaging) and for stiff applications (farming and horticultural sector, disposable dishware). It will answer in a more competitive way to the new stakes of the law for Energy Transition and Green Growth.<\/p>\n
