INSTITUT ANALGESIA

ANALGESIA Institute is the 1st centre in Europe supporting and conducting partnering projects of general interest (medical, scientific or social) with the objective of promoting and enhancing translational research and innovation against pain.

Based in Clermont-Ferrand, the ANALGESIA Institute is the only French research foundation in the field of innovation against pain. Its purpose is to support and lead projects of scientific excellence, as well as any activity of general interest, particularly of a medical, scientific or social nature, aimed at promoting and enhancing translational research and innovation in the field of pain control.

Thus, the ANALGESIA Institute acts concretely through its 3 priority axes:

– ACCOMPANY patients and carers to build an innovative care pathway;

– SOULAGING patients by developing tomorrow’s solutions for pain care;

– INFORM, MAKE AWARE AND TRAIN on pain and its treatment, to reduce the societal and economic impact of chronic pain.

To carry out its projects, the ANALGESIA Institute has teams of carers and researchers from different scientific and geographical backgrounds working in partnership on research and care projects collaborate within its network.

The strategy of the Institute aims at valuing the plurality of the skills of its members and partners, in order to emerge new concepts and to accelerate their transfer to analgesic therapeutic applications safer, more effective and more personalized.

The Institute thus aims at promoting transdisciplinarity to feed the basic research and to develop clinically relevant concepts.

 

New drugs, new e-health approaches and new technologies (big data, algorithms, machine learning…), a multidimensional innovation with a single vision: allow all patient recover a life without pain!
