Cluster Innovatherm: group together to innovate and make the thermal companies more competitive.

Labelled Cluster of Excellence in 2013, by the Regional council, in coordination with the state and Europe, Innovatherm groups around thirty members who work in the implementation of innovative projects in the thermal spas of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
What is a cluster ? It is a network of companies gathered around a sector having for object its economic valuation. It contributes to create innovative collaborative projects by the alliance of cross-functional skills public and private.
The aim of Innovatherm is to group companies, laboratories, research centers, institutional, to make the thermal companies more competitive.

Missions:
The mission of INNOVATHERM is to meet the popular aspiration for a healthy life as long as possible. It sets up programs of innovation to propose products of prevention concerning the chronic diseases, passing by protocols validated by the authorities of health.

Its main objectives
• Invent new formats of cure based on the notion of “global health “.
• Accompany expectations regarding public health by opening the fields of the thermal therapeutics by the elderly persons’ care and support (silver economy), the management of diseases of society, the overall patient care, the follow-up care.
• Find new ways of economic development for stations by valuing at best thermal waters in domains so different as the food-processing industry, the nutrition, the probiotics, the food complements, the beauty care, the renewable energies such as the geothermal science.
