Phytosynthese and Bemipharm announce the availability of the production area of the new industrial site, Phytoplant 4.0, at the Biopôle Clermont-Limagne.

On Friday, June 27, in a warm and friendly atmosphere featuring the traditional “Gigot Bitume” (asphalt-cooked leg of lamb), Bemipharm — builder of Phytosynthese’s future industrial site — held an event at the Saint-Beauzire location to mark the handover of the production area on the already well-advanced construction site. This event served as a key moment to present the project to technical and institutional partners who contributed to its development.

Since its creation, Phytosynthese has established itself as one of the French pioneers in natural, plant-based solutions for animal nutrition and well-being. A member of the Lehning Group since 2012, the company continues to pursue an ambitious international growth strategy. The launch of this new site, named “PhytoPlant 4.0,” marks a pivotal step in this development trajectory.

Located in the heart of the Biopôle Clermont-Limagne in Saint-Beauzire, the new facility will span over 5,000 m² of constructed space. It will include production, storage, and research areas, as well as shared office spaces. The total site covers more than 16,000 m², giving the company room to anticipate and accommodate future growth.

The new equipment, scheduled for delivery by the end of 2025, will allow Phytosynthese to double its production capacity, optimize logistics flows by consolidating storage of raw materials and finished products, enhance cross-functional team collaboration, and establish a cutting-edge innovation laboratory.

With this project, Phytosynthese reaffirms its commitment to the “One Health” approach, which integrates animal, human, and environmental health. The company focuses on responsible technologies, ethical sourcing chains, and plant-based innovation in its R&D efforts.

Already present in more than 30 countries, Phytosynthese generates 75% of its revenue from exports and stands as a recognized international player, while maintaining strong roots in the Auvergne region. For the Biopôle Clermont-Limagne, this new facility represents both a strategic and complementary addition to the existing ecosystem of businesses, fully aligning with the health and plant-based sector dynamic promoted and supported by the technology park.
